Our story
George Tash had a clog and a hose.
He was tired of chemicals that didn't work, so he built a tool that clears a drain with plain water. That tool became the Drain King.
How it started
It started with a clog that wouldn't budge on a Friday night. George Tash didn't want to pour more chemicals down the drain or scratch the pipe with a cable, so he made something that used the one thing already in the house — water pressure. He hooked a rubber bladder to a garden hose, let it seal the pipe, and let the water push the clog out. It worked. He kept building.

The Drain King
George Tash built the original water-powered drain cleaner — a bladder and a Water-Jet Valve that clears a pipe with a garden hose instead of chemicals.
The Master Plunger
The first bellows-design plunger — eight to ten cups of water a stroke, and a funnel nose that seals a low-flush toilet where a rubber cup cannot.
Safe-T-Seal test plugs
A pro line of mechanical and pneumatic plugs that seal a pipe and hold head pressure so a plumber can test the line — made in the USA with GoodYear rubber.
A patented design
The work is protected by U.S. design patent D833,695 — the reason the big-box look-alikes never quite match the real thing.
Still made in Moorpark, California
Four decades on, the family still makes these tools on-site in Moorpark. That is a real difference from the overseas knockoffs.
